The Team

At Adventure Peru Motorcycling, we aim to offer you a friendly and helpful motorcycling experience. Our aim is to make this trip your holiday of a lifetime. Here are some of the people that help us achieve these results.

About Us

Our company was formed here in the UK in 2003 and has been successfully operating motorbike tours in Peru to date.

We also have a Peruvian sister company, Aventuras Peru Moviles EIRL that handles all of our Peruvian activities supervised by Carlos Salazar the Director General.

We offer an opportunity for bikers to experience riding in all terrains and seeing the real Peru via our exclusive tour packages that cover the whole country. We can also offer special bespoke group tours on request.

Peter Killick
Peruvian Bookings and Reservation
Over 30 years experience of riding motorcycles. Has owned a variety of road going motorcycles and is  currently in possession of a Honda XL600 and a Honda VTFT Ascot shaft driven V twin 500. Other interesting bikes have included a BSA Goldstar and Triumphs Bonneville and Trident.

Peter has made various long international trips including a run with an East German 250MZ from Lima, Peru through the Andes of Peru into lowland Bolivian Chaco (scrublands) and tropical Brazil, ending in Santos on the Atlantic Coast below Rio De Janeiro. More recently rode a Honda XL from California to Peru travelling through the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador during a travelling period of 6 weeks shipping the bike from Panama to Guayaquil, Ecuador (as yet no road connects between Central America and South America). The trip, interesting in its own right was more memorable due to the fact that it was made during the last 'El Nino' climate phenomenon (it rains where it doesn't rain!). This means bridgeless rivers, landslide covered road sections, lots of mud and other difficult conditions for traffic.

Although born in England he has spent over fifteen years in Peru apart from a lesser time in other countries such as Canada, The USA, Honduras and in fact most of Latin America. He speaks Spanish fluently and has taught English to South American students on various prolonged occasions, including at Lima and at the University of Cajamarca (Peru).

Carlos Salazar
Senior Mechanic and Backup Driver

Peruvian national and long time motorcycle aficionado, Carlos is a respected member of his local community in Llacanora near Cajamarca Peru and has owned a variety of motorcycles including rarely available larger capacity machines such as the Honda CBX 1050CC 6 Cylinder model which he used on the limited paved roads in the Peruvian Jungle town of Iquitos where he worked for many years as a motorcycle mechanic.

Carlos has over 25 years motorcycle riding experience. He has made numerous motorcycle journeys on roads and tracks within the national territory.

Carlos usually drives our back up vehicle and has an in depth knowledge of the conditions and services relevant to our adventure.

David Groves
UK Business Director

David heads up the UK department and arranges the schedules and bookings, liaising closely with our office in Cajamarca. He also makes some of the trips being a keen motorcyclist and has a 500cc Honda VT Twin out in Peru which he gets to take out whenever he visits.

David has over 35 years in business administration in the UK and which includes 8 years in Peru and is fluent in Spanish.

David also attends and runs all of our presentations and bike shows all over Europe.

Franco Brito
Senior Tour Guide / Head Mechanic

Franco , the youngest member of our team works as our second tour guide. Franco is a qualified electrical engineer but also a useful mechanic and loves to travel and motorcycling in general.

He rides a Suzuki GSXR when not on tour. A resourceful and versatile young man, these days when time permits Franco likes to continue on his project of building himself a log cabin near the town of Celendin in the Northern Mountains.

Adal Quevedo
Peru - Cajamarca Office Manager

Ex student of The University of Chiclayo, with a Degree in Planning and Business Administration Adal runs our Cajamarcan office.

He is responsible for handling all our booking arrangements for the trips and is the contact point for our team on tour. Adal speaks fluent English having worked previously for international companies in Peru.
